Privacy Policy

AVAG ("we", "the extension") is a prospecting tool for creative freelancers. This policy explains exactly what data we handle and how. We keep it short because we collect very little.

1. What we collect

• Account email & password — to create and authenticate your AVAG account. Passwords are hashed and managed by our authentication provider (Supabase); we never see them in plain text.
• Search queries — the keywords you type are sent to our search service to return results. They are not stored or linked to your profile.
• Captured leads — contact details (name, company, email, phone) you choose to save from a web page.

2. Where your data lives

Leads you capture are stored locally in your browser (chrome.storage.local) on your own device. They are not uploaded to our servers. If you uninstall the extension, that data is removed with it.

Your account email and subscription status are stored securely with our providers (Supabase for authentication, Lemon Squeezy for billing) solely to operate your account.

3. Permissions we request

• Access to the current page — only when you click "Capture", so we can read contact details from the page you're viewing. We do not read pages in the background.
• Storage — to save your leads and keep you logged in.
• Tabs — to open a lead's website when you ask to capture it.

4. What we never do

• We never sell or rent your data.
• We never share your leads with third parties.
• We never track your browsing across sites.
• We never run ads or use advertising trackers.

5. Third-party services

We rely on a small number of trusted providers strictly to run the service:

• Supabase — account authentication & subscription records.
• Lemon Squeezy — payment processing for Pro subscriptions.
• Serper — returns web search results for your queries.

6. Your rights

You can delete your locally stored leads at any time from within the extension, or by uninstalling it. To delete your account entirely, email us and we'll remove your records.
